Good Credit Credit Card

Bad Credit Baby wanted to set the record straight: she believed it would be possible to become a Good Credit Baby. With a little bit of determination, she was sure she could make this happen.

What it takes to get a good credit credit card
What does it take, she wondered, to go from a state of bad credit to a place where she could earn a good credit card? Well, for most folks it can happen, but she is known as Bad Credit Baby, so she will never seek a good credit credit card. This little baby is stubborn and has a lot to learn. Like, she knows she is not supposed to stick things in the electric socket, yet she does. She knows she is not supposed to dump spoonfuls of honey in Mommy's long hair, but she does. She knows she is not supposed to jump in the deep end of the pool, but she does.

You, what will you do to measure up in the credit department so that you are eligible for a good credit credit card? If you've had problems with your credit in the past, you can change things. Start with whatever credit card you can get. The cards that are geared for those of us with bad credit will have higher interest rates. Once you play this game, you can climb tears all the way to the top and the good credit credit card - the one with the lowest interest rates.

Playing the credit game
How does one "play the game?" Simple. Just eat the high charges for the first 3 to 6 months. Get the card, spend and be sure to pay it off each month and in full, if possible. So then, you should not make purchases that exceed the amount that is possible for you to pay at the end of the month. Punctuality is very important. You will want to make sure to pay it on time, or early each month. If you do this, it shouldn't be too long before you are eligible for a good credit credit card.

After about six months, you can request the next best interest rate card, or if you like the issuer of your present card, you can negotiate with them. Creditors do not like it when a good client closes an account and moves on to competitors. This is why Bad Credit Baby thinks you should approach them that way. Tell them you know you can do better so unless they agree to a reduced interest rate/higher balance - you'll go elsewhere. And work your way up to the good credit credit card that is so rightfully yours. Go ahead. It may take a few years, depending on the type of shape you are in, but, it is possible.
